Who doesn't LOVE Birthday's???
Seriously- I LOVE birthday more than anyone in the WHOLE world!!
It doesn't even have to be my birthday -Birthday just make me HAPPY!!
It is the gifts... the gift wrap (yes, I said gift wrap!) and CAKE!!!


To start off, anyone that knows me, would agree with me when I say that I LOVE gift- buying, gift-wrapping, gift-giving!! I would make it a hobby if it could be considered one!
It makes me happy to find the perfect gift- (at the perfect price of course) then I get to WRAP it =)
That is the GREATEST part of all!!! It is so much fun to be creative through gift wrapping.
I have spent more then 2- maybe 3 hours wrapping one gift before!! and I loved EVERY minute of it!!
Besides the usual gift wrapping supplies I've used everything from wallpaper, fake flowers, mason jars and duct-tape before. It is so much FUN!!!


Ok-Ok...The main reason I bring all this up is because July is the kick off to my family's birthdays!! (which means I get to buy- wrap and ENJOY the celebration!)

Well it’s official- I am going to be the mother of a: BOY!

We received the news Friday and as you can imagine my hubby is elated!!

We both went into the appointment not having a preference. Everyone had been telling us they thought girl- so it was easy for me being a woman to get excited and get into girly mode with my thoughts: names, decorating, future activities and such. But now that it is a BOY... I am having to transition my thinking! Secretly, I’ve always had a feeling I would be a mother of 4-boys! Yes! -Crazy I know! How I came up with that, I don’t know?

But can I be honest, when there was a 50/50 chance it could have been a girl,  for some reason that was where my heart went. I am a true girly-girl with a Big romantic side- so having a girl just fit right in. I mean seriously try resisting wanting these...

But now I have to transition from Tutu’s and lace to rubber boots and football...and please don't make me say it-BUGS!

BTW- Does anyone else feel the way I do???

-- Are the only things out there for boys, safari animals, cartoon animations and wardrobes completely full of sports apparel? Can anyone help me find classic boy things…clothes, classic toys a website anything?? Everywhere I go I see adorable girl thing and cheesy boy things---help!

When Two become Three

it's OFFICIAL we are no longer 'just' a couple but a
...grooowing family!

Well my belly is-!

Look at that thing! It is still surreal to see my self with a belly. OK well, I have been starring at myself in the mirror wondering if what i thought was a baby belly was actually a baby belly. This will sound funny, even as I write this it makes me chuckle. For some reason I thought once a woman got pregnant it was like instant ...ok, maybe like overnight ...that a cute little baby belly appeared. Well, I'm here to report that, that is not the case!

I'm sorry, I thought it was really lame to tell people that we were expecting when there were no results showing this to be true. What if I was an attention seeker and I wasn't telling the truth- and I just claimed my belly took forever to show ...maybe some of my friends thought I was- {I really hope not!}but seriously 4 month for something to finally pop out!! You have got to be kidding me!

Now, don't go getting on my case about how I should be grateful that it took even this long to start showing... because well, I don't want to hear it! =)

But I must say it is an amazing thing how God designed a woman's body to transition into motherhood -everything starts to change right away. Except- what happened to my bladder??? The only conclusion I can gather from my shrinking bladder is- I get to learn all the clean and dirty bathroom in my commuting area only to prepare me for when I have a toddler potty training??? Only reason I could come up with!
